About the Author

Gowthama Sanna

He is a writer and ideologue of Dalit politics and sociology based on Marxism and Ambedkarism. His research articles are published in several magazines since 1995 and an author of several books on Dalit and social issues, He has been deeply involved in campaigning against social injustice and atrocities against Dalits, Tribes, Women and Minorities. He is the founder, SANGAM -a platform for propagating Ambedkar's thoughts and Preserving Dalit's History Documents (1996). Founder, Dalit Students Federation (DSF) (1999). Founder member of All College Students federation (AKMK) (1999). Founder member and Treasurer of SIDWAA-South Indian Dalit Writers & Artist Association and Secretary for Dalit Land Right Movement (2003). Founder, Young Buddhist Association (YBA) (2005), Founder Member, Creators for Social Harmony (2012) a coalition of writers, poets and artists who came together in the aftermath of the violence in Dharmapuri. The Founder of Dalit Dialogue Forum (DDF-2019). The propaganda Secretary (2008-2015) & the Deputy General Secretary of Viduthalal Chiruthaikal Katchi (VCK) since 2015.
